My Papaw and What He means to My Life

Where do I start when it comes to My Papaw... Anyone who knows him, knows what I mean to him...You see how hard he works to raise money to keep my therapy going and so I can even do more! I know how sad my Papaw is to see me the way I am today... This is not what he ever could have imagined, and he thinks I don't feel his tears when were alone and he holds me tight in his arms... And you know he tells me everything he does he does it all for me! It's a lot of hard work, and now he has even decided to do even more to help other kids like me! I wish my papaw and my family was not so sad when they think of who I was and who I am today... Can you imagine having so much love, not only from your family but from people who just hear about me and want to help my Papaw help me and my friends! My life is blessed and my family is blessed, and until you experience one day with a child who is as special as I am, you will never understand how anyone could feel blessed by having lost the little boy I was and being the big boy I am today, but so different! Me and My Papaw and my Big Sister Autumn...Before my accident!

 If I changed your life in anyway at all then you see the purpose! My Papaw was given the gift of raising money for kids long before I was even born, and now he knows his purpose and why God was preparing him!

My Mommy and My Grandma can't ever take that day back, and I know sometimes they are so sad , but most of the time they remember how God has blessed their lives by blessing the lives of others who will have a blind eye for one second of one day and life will change for them forever!

My Papaw... He's not giving up on me... He will do everything he can and everything it takes to help me make progress... And he truely believes in Miracles! And he has really great and loyal friends who never stop giving, and who encourage him to never give up!

When you see my family and me, don't be afraid to ask about me if you don't know... Because that's what the purpose of all of our lives is... To tell everyone about my accident, and to make them realize it could happen to any of them in a second! And to make sure you know I am not the only one like this, and that is why the Hugs Foundation (for near drowning children) at www.hugs4ndc.com  is so important to My Papaw... He knows there are families all over that don't know how to do fundraiser's or can't because they don't have family who can help them!But most of all it is important for people to know about me and my friends who people make it hard to talk about what happen because they say My Mommy or My Gramma should have been watching me better! So, it makes it hard for parents to talk about the subject of near drowning and making everyone aware of the fact that near drowning does not mean you were ok, and you went home and life was the same!  Meet some of the other families and you will see just what a lucky boy I am to have a Papaw who says to me...Everything I do...I do it all for you buddy! And now he is doing it for other families too!
