As you can see from the spec scan below Seth's brain was severely damaged, the top portion of the spec scan shows very little brain activity 6 weeks after Seth's accident.
After 200 Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments the bottom portion shows brain cells have been rejuvenated and although we have seen the progress long before the second spec scan done on 9/10/04, what we see here on the spec scan still amazed us and the Dr's...Seth's spec scan was one of the best ever seen after 200 treatments, and we are happy to share the results with all of you!
Jill (Seth's mom) has worked hard with Seth to get these results, not only with hyperbarics but with the love and devotion she gives to him on a daily basis...There is so much she does... She does light therapy with Seth to regain his vision, she works with oral stimulation to get his swallowing back and to allow him to make sounds! She plays music for him, and puts on his favorite shows for him to hear...She works hard with his physical therapy to keep his body strong...And she has searched hard to find all the right Dr's for him...Her strength and courage through all of this has been amazing, but also we have to thank all of those who donate so much to the fundraisers to keep Seth's treatments going!
Without all of you, none of this would be possible! We all try to do our part to keep Seth healthy and strong and stimulated, and we talk to him and play with him, and try to make his life as normal as possible and we never give up...And most of all we all thank God for staying close to Seth, and keeping Seth wrapped close to his heart while we do our part to get him well! Without God nothing is possible.

A child is a precious gift from God...
